MInDSiTE and Medtronic deliver a new edition of the Bifurcation Hands-On Course in Barcelona

MInDSiTE and Medtronic held a new edition of the Bifurcation Hands-On Course (BHOC) in Barcelona in November 2025, reaffirming their commitment to practical, continuous education for interventional cardiology professionals.

The programme combined a review of the latest scientific evidence with intensive training using high-fidelity simulators. Participants worked through increasingly complex anatomical scenarios, assessing different bifurcation treatment strategies and approaches to optimise outcomes.

Simulation made it possible to reproduce complete procedures in a controlled environment, repeat manoeuvres, analyse decisions and address potential errors. Throughout the training, participants were supported by an experienced faculty, encouraging the exchange of experiences and discussion of different therapeutic alternatives.

The programme also incorporated real clinical case discussions, connecting simulator-based training with situations encountered in everyday clinical practice.

This new BHOC edition demonstrates the potential of the collaboration between MInDSiTE and Medtronic to bring together technological innovation, clinical knowledge and medical education.
