Following the launch of the Bifurcation Hands-On Course (BHOC) in Madrid, the next chapter of the MInDSiTE journey took place in León. On January 29–30, 2025, MInDSiTE hosted a new edition of the program, further consolidating its simulation-based approach to interventional cardiology education.

Over two days, the course brought together three leading Spanish experts in coronary bifurcation treatment and intracoronary imaging: Dr. Manuel Pan, Dr. Pedro Martín, and Dr. Alfonso Jurado. Through a highly interactive format, they shared their clinical expertise while guiding participants through complex procedural strategies.

The program combined scientific updates with intensive hands-on training using digital simulation, in vitro models, and in vivo training. This comprehensive approach enabled participants to experience scenarios that closely reflected the challenges they face every day in the cath lab, strengthening both their technical skills and clinical decision-making.

Beyond its scientific content, BHOC León reinforced the philosophy that continues to define MInDSiTE: learning by doing. Every simulation, every clinical discussion, and every practical session became an opportunity to exchange knowledge, refine techniques, and gain confidence in a safe learning environment.

The outstanding participation confirmed the growing demand for a more practical, immersive, and dynamic educational model—one that complements traditional teaching with simulation-based experiences that mirror real clinical practice.

If Madrid marked the birth of BHOC, León represented its consolidation. This edition reaffirmed MInDSiTE's commitment to innovation in medical education through simulation, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

Because the best skills are not simply taught. They are trained.
